18th March – Attended the funeral service at St Mary’s Church and interment in Battle Cemetery of Roy Calthorpe

23rd March – Represented the people of Battle in a minute’s silence at noon on the steps of Battle Abbey as a part of the day of reflection to mark the anniversary of the UK’s First Covid lockdown

15th April – Attended a Service marking the Death of The Prince Philip, His Royal Highness Duke of Edinburgh at St Mary’s Church, accompanied by the Town Clerk

2020

31st January – Attended the opening of the Link ATM in Battle and cut the ribbon at the opening of the new Costa premises

2nd March – Attended Battle’s inaugural Youth Forum

4th March – Attended a screening of A Second Chance, a film documenting the training of prison inmates and their transition to employment after their release, hosted by the High Sheriff of East Sussex.

14th March – Attended a most enjoyable and varied concert by music students from Hastings and Rother at the De La Warr Pavilion

4th November – Remembrance Sunday service filming at St Mary’s Church

8th November – Attended the Remembrance Sunday service and laid the Town Council wreath on behalf of the people of Battle

11th November – Represented the people of Battle at the Act of Remembrance on Abbey Green

14th November – Welcomed Lewis Kirkbride to Battle at the end of his walk from Stamford Bridge wearing full mail to raise money for charity

2019

26th May – Opening of this year’s Battle Photographic Society’s annual exhibition

29th May – Bexhill Mayor making ceremony, accompanied by Deputy Mayor, Councillor Margaret Kiloh

10th June – Meeting with Lord Lieutenant

18th June – Summer Reception at Charleston at the invitation of The High Sheriff of East Sussex & Mr Tim Hancock, accompanied by the Town Clerk, Carol Harris

2nd July – Welcomed the judges for this year’s South & South East in Bloom competition, accompanied by Deputy Mayor, Cllr Margaret Kiloh

2nd July – Welcomed the Lord Lieutenant to Battle Cemetery, accompanied by the Council’s groundsmen
