Hear about South East Water’s plans to provide top quality drinking water from 2025 to 2030

Hear about our plans to provide top quality drinking water from 2025 to 2030
At South East Water we provide top quality, wholesome drinking water to 2.3 million consumers. Each day we pump and treat about 542 million litres of water into our network of 9,000 miles of pipes.

Over the last few years, our region has seen significant changes in climate, population growth and working habits which means more people are working from home.

More recently we’ve all had to face up to the challenges of the cost of living crisis. All of these factors affect how we supply water to our customers.

Join us at an open virtual event giving you an opportunity to hear about and ask us questions regarding our latest business plan submitted to Ofwat earlier this month.

The event is open to all our customers and stakeholders and we invite you to attend and also ask for your help in promoting this event in your local area.

The event is being held on 31 October from 6pm to 8pm.

By taking part in this Your water your say session you will play your part in helping us shape the future of water in the region.

We want to provide a service that is affordable and accessible for everyone, and is able to tackle the challenges faced in the region in the short, medium and long term.

If you can’t get involved, then please let your friends, neighbours, and family members know about the meeting.

Other water companies in the South East

South East Water provides drinking water only, and as a result our customers receive waste water services from either Southern Water or Thames Water. Both companies are running similar events. If you’d like to find out how to take part please visit their websites.

Questions

You’re welcome to put your questions to our panel of experts during the live session. In case you’re unable to attend the event or you’d prefer, CCW (Consumer Council for Water) will raise your question on your behalf.

You can submit your query prior to the meeting to yourwateryoursay@ccwater.org.uk, stating clearly that your question is for South East Water, and whether you’re unable to attend or you’re attending but would prefer CCW to raise it for you.

Questions won’t be shared with us in advance of the meeting.

You can find out more about the meeting from CCW and Ofwat by visiting their websites:

I encourage you to share this invite amongst your networks.

We look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
